Michelle Martin

RIBA BA (Hons), MArch, ADPPA, ARB

RIBAJ Rising Star Award 2022

Michelle has worked in architecture and design for the last 15 years, specialising in heritage and industrial architecture, she has also had experience and a great passion for contemporary and modernist design. Michelle brings forward innovative, exciting ideas with learnings of the past. 

Michelle plays an active part in the architectural, art and construction communities, providing mentorship for students, leading and organising workshops for Live Site Studio's sister community interest company Live Site Learning CIC.  

Michelle was on the jury panel for RIBA East Regional Awards 2022 and 2023 as Conservation Advisor, of which she has acted as Conservation Specialist for the RIBA Yorkshire in 2017 and 2019. 

Her career and education has taken her around the world studying and speaking about and encouraging sustainable solutions in the RE-USE and repair of existing buildings, the craft and women in construction. 

Working collaboratively, Michelle has lead and been a part of many successful and exciting projects in the UK and internationally.

Sean Kelly 
BA (hons), Arch MArch, ARB

Sean is an award winning designer. He has worked in and around London, Berkshire and Hertfordshire for the last decade for both Fosters and Partners and as a sole trader.  He has been involved in many projects dealing with flood risk and greenbelt challenges. 

Working on a variety of projects of different scale, Sean brings great design skills and innovative solutions to both architecture and idea representation. He has a passion for sustainable solutions, collaborative working and forward thinking design.

More recently received commendation for his outstanding performance during his Part 3 accreditation!
